if you don't think Sherm is smart, I question your own intelligence. He is very smart, and there are a million obvious bits of evidence to support it.

Is he an ass? yeah, sometimes. Is he brash and loud? yes. Did he have a drunken episode that led to a public display of aggression? yes.

You can like him or not, like his attitude or not, but don't act like that makes him unintelligent.

Again, I don't think he is. I think he has had some brain issues from concussions more than likely, and I also think he has anger issues. Those two things can lead him to do some things that maybe he shouldn't.

There's a big difference between intelligence and arrogance. There's also a big difference between knowledge and perceived knowledge.

The smartest people are the ones who are fully aware that they don't know nearly as much as they think they do. High performers actually tend to underestimate their skills and ability. On the other end of the spectrum, we've all met the know-it-all blowhard who really knows very little.
