Re: Hawks Vikings Game thread
man I completely forgot about Artie Burns. The defensive backfield is ridiculously deep. Like a year an a half ago it was the weakest part of the team.
I mostly want to see the rookies. You just don't know what you are getting until you see them against NFL players. I remember when they drafted Frank Clark and I was like "who the hell is this guy?" then he immediately looked like a man amongst boys in the preseason. Then there was LJ Collier, who I also said "who the hell is this guy?" and he immediately looked like a boy amongst boys.

Why are you only watching the first half? Too late to watch the full meal deal? Will you DVR it to watch later?
I've been watching the Women's World Cup in the middle of the night in for almost a month lol. The matches have been starting around 1 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. Seattle time. It's been insane trying to sleep around the schedule with Australia and New Zealand 17-19 hours ahead.
Go Australia! Go Matildas!
I know you fuckers don't care about soccer lol.

For LJ, I was thinking more a baby turtle trying to get to the Ocean with 5 Godzillas trying to stop him.SeattleAddict wrote: ↑Thu Aug 10, 2023 6:54 pmman I completely forgot about Artie Burns. are you ready for some footbaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll?
I'm excited. I know it's just a pointless preseason game but it's like a crack addict being clean for 6 months and sniffing a rock (sorry been watching Cops while I wait for 7pm).

should've known better than to get excited. "Program blocked in your area"... presumably because Starlink makes it look like I'm in Seattle.

Weak-ass D out there. Somebody make a fucking play.
Re: Hawks Vikings Game thread
My tv says the game starts at 8 PM Pac. on Fox. Maybe the pregame show starts on NFL network then. For the life of me why would you start a sporting event at 8 PM on the left coast? dump almost nobody in the East coast that works a 9-5 is startin a game at 10 or 11 and staying up until 1 AM..
Re: Hawks Vikings Game thread
Rapinoe is yucky. But she is probably the reason they lost. She is 38 which is fine for an nurse or whatever but probably not on a world competition level of sporting event.SeattleAddict wrote: ↑Fri Aug 11, 2023 2:01 amseriously? women's soccer? Unless they're naked, I don't see the point. Actually, if Rapinoe is naked, I still wouldn't watch.
