I guess it must be true that a large number of NFL execs are 49ers fans. That's what i heard a few years ago anyway.

Jesus, Rivers just threw 7 straight incompletions in followed by a pick in 8 plays on one drive to lose the game. I don't think RW has to worry about him in the MVP race.
Rivers is one of the most over rated QBs of his era. Too bad Eli forced his way out of San Diego, the Giants would have never won any Super Bowls.

Doesn't surprise me. NFL has a boner for certain players and Russ has and never will be one of them. Not shocking at all.

qb power rankings
4
Matthew Stafford
Detroit Lions QB
The Lions lost, but don't blame Stafford, who continues to play the best football of his career in Darrell Bevell's offense that is letting Stafford chuck the ball downfield with frequency. If the Lions weren't the Lions, he'd be an MVP candidate.

If ifs and buts were candy and nuts we'd all have a Merry Christmas. If Russ was in Detroit they'd be better than 3 - 4 - 1. They tied the damn Cardinals after blowing a big lead, for crying out loud.

Not only that .. They left him out.. :  Hawks must be winning because of their dominating defense.

The could make a remake of the movie Paper Lion and have it be based on Stafford's NFL career.

ROY tracker. The graph is the inverse of what you would expect because the y axis is the odds. DK actually took a huge positive jump this past week.
