If he makes it to the second half I will consider it a win....

Re: Injury updates
He hasn't played the second half of a football game since the last time we played a playoff game with Russ Wilson at QB. And in that game he flat out dropped an INT that hit his facemask that more than likely cost us the game. That might be an exaggeration since I am very certain Russ would have lost that game regardless of what the defense did.
Re: Injury updates
Speaking of the Broncos are going to get blasted tonight. This season might make last season seem not bad at all for them.....

I have always hated Sean Payton, so this is wonderful to me. I didn’t have much of an opinion on Hackett, but I’ve been watching Hard Knocks and he seems like a good dude. Believe it or not? So does Aaron Rodgers. It’s kind of like when Tom Brady left the Patriots and seemed like an actual human! Anyone that doesn’t like Tom should watch the “Tuck Rule” special, I think on ESPN, but it might be the NFL Network. One of the football life things. Anyway, it was Tom and Charles Woodson hanging out and talking about it. Made me see Tom in a new light.

Everybody has always said Hackett was a great guy. Did you see how the Jets rallied around him? They love him there, they loved him in NE. He was a terrible HC, though. The two things can be true... some guys are just more cut out to be coordinators.Michael K. wrote: ↑Thu Oct 12, 2023 8:24 pmI have always hated Sean Payton, so this is wonderful to me. As for Brady, I could never like him. He'll always be a cheater and an arrogant whiny prick. I'm sure there are moments where he's not cheating or being an arrogant whiny prick, but that doesn't mean he's not either of those things. Also happens to be the greatest player of all time, which is annoying.

Re: Injury updates
Wilson had 17 yards passing in the first half until a 15 or 20 yard screen pass boosted his numbers. So, I guess since Hackett's offense was better last year than Payton this year? Payton is worse than Hackett? This is a dogshit football team, and most of us knew it when they were the talk of the NFL for adding Wilson. But Payton actually called out Hackett to the press, so watching that asshole flounder this season is hilarious.SeattleAddict wrote: ↑Fri Oct 13, 2023 1:57 amEverybody has always said Hackett was a great guy. I don't think Payton is worse than Hackett, it's just different. The team sucked last year because Hackett was incompetent (maybe "in over his head" is a better description). Payton seems to have pissed off his team. Last year they looked confused, this year they look like they don't give a shit.

Not sure that makes Payton the better coach. Culture is intentional. That is something I preach as a coach every day. Yes, HS is different than the Pros, but hard work beats talent everytime when talent doesn't work hard. If the Head Coach has greated a shitty culture? That makes him a shitty coach. If he is a genius Xs and Os guy, but can't get his ideas across to the players because they have given up on him? Sorry, then he is a shitty coach. Of all the things we ripped on Pete about, several of which seem to have magically disappeared with out Russ? You could NEVER say his guys wouldn't play hard for him. I'm left to wonder if Drew Brees wasn't the glue of that team. Much like Belichek without Brady, what the fuck has Payton done without Brees?SeattleAddict wrote: ↑Fri Oct 13, 2023 3:33 pmyeah it is.Michael K. wrote: ↑Fri Oct 13, 2023 4:54 am

True, but Payton is a dickhead that is now being exposed for what he is. Hackett seems to be a guy that everyone but Russell Wilson loves. Take into account the success Hackett has had offensively when he hasn't been saddled with a fuckup at QB? I think Hackett has a chance for a future. I think all along Payton was one Drew Brees injury from being out of the league a long ass time ago.SeattleAddict wrote: ↑Fri Oct 13, 2023 6:01 pm
