Yep. And we always act surprised. Dog shit offense with incredibly odd choices in when to take risks. Stupid penalties and at times poor tackling. All staples. But? Just kiss the damn ring and accept that this is what it is. This is soon to be a 6 and 8 team. I guess we’ll see at that point how mush sway that ring has. My guess is 8 and 8 on our way to Arizona to play a game that probably doesn’t matter.

Maybe but if the identical play was called roughing by one of our guys vs. Stafford then it would have been calls for the NFL just to play touch or flag football and or a conspiracy that that Goodell's fav player is Stafford.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Mon Nov 20, 2023 3:47 pmWell, it did look like he may have been high with the hands. Couldn't tell if he actually hit Geno in the face but it was close.

"Porous attention to detail
Lacking self & team discipline
Brutal clock management
Life is about trade offs & Pete’s teams play on the edge. Today they jumped off it."
I've invented a new term, and I call it 'Petey-ball'. It emphasizes a strong running game (whether or not that's the truth is irrelevant), a short, conservative passing game that limits turnovers (and yards, but that's of no concern), and an aggressive defense. A conservative style, it's typically criticized for its blandness and it prevents a team from winning big games, because Pete consistently plays not to lose (until he actually does). The underlying premise is to keep the score close until the very end so that the team may have a chance to win it with a late field goal.

Except it's not true, they pass and at least when RW was QB they passed aggressively. Pete loves his big plays.

So none of it's true? Or just the passing part?

Loving the big play and actually designing and offense that make it possible are not the same thing. There are ways to get big plays besides simply dropping back and throwing fifty fifty go balls on third and three.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Mon Nov 20, 2023 4:24 pmExcept it's not true, they pass and at least when RW was QB they passed aggressively. How many times have we seen this team throw for 3 yards when they need 13?
