Re: Hawks @ Farty Niners
It's not just being a consultant, he's running the football operations, he's JSs boss. All that have to be sorted out as well as actually coaching the team. I doubt she be motivated to tackle it because he went 7-9. If he's tired of it, hand over the coaching. But I doubt it, at best he retires in two years. Who knows, maybe she extends him again.

He's a LB. Maybe at one point in time he was fast enough to play Safety, but he's not anymore. And watching him in coverage is painful. Sure seems odd that the staff can't see that. If they can't figure out a way to use him, as the Jet's DC said the day after we traded for him? Maybe we shouldn't have resigned him?Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Mon Dec 11, 2023 2:35 pmAll the safeties were terrible yesterday. At least Adams has the excuse that he is coming back from a major injury that kept him from working out for half a year. Add to that the defensive scheme and coaching is subpar and you have a train wreck on the field.

Dave Wyman I think said "Don't get spoiled by winning". Well, in 6 (most likely 7 Year) we maybe got spoiled by winning some games in the regular season, but not in the post season. 1 win in in like 7 years in the playoffs. I think Pete has lost something, I think John did too, but then course corrected.
On the field we keep going down so he changes coordinators and the result is the same. What is the common denominator?
Pete's way of letting players be players works when they are playing well. How does it look when they aren't? Looks like this season. How does competition really work, when the best players are not playing in the right situations.
Drew Locke against the same team. Over the 3 weeks. And on the road.
He was better passing percentage. TDs. Yards and points
He had 1 more int on getting his arm hit and less rushing yard.
Drew Played better on the road against the niners than Geno did at home. Oh, less reps and next to no gametime.
Lets see how Positive Pete responds.

Just mind boggling the amount of time people spend on this nonsense. If the uniforms were reversed they would 1000% be on Fred Warner's side. Game was already over, who cares that they got into a little spat. It is meaningless yet people act like it was an atrocity against humanity which is pretty ironic given what is going on in the world.

I remember watching the play that the ref was looking right at Warner doing that to DK. He let it go.
I hate how DK has acted this year, but how in the heck can he know Warner lateralled it?
Fricking crazy.

Lock looked pretty good to me.
Metcalf is frustrated, as they all should be.
On paper, SEA has talent. It just isn't translating to the field. And that's PC.
As Michael mentioned previously, it has to be scheme and coaching (or lack thereof) that is holding this team back.
Can this team beat ARI?

I thought it was pretty fucked up how they went on and on about DK pushing him, then glossed over the running up and shoving his facemask. THEN, what, five minutes later? They show Warner shove him, spend about thirty seconds laughing about how the guy that reacts is always the one that gets caught, and the conversation ends. Once it no longer appeared that DK was at fault? They didn't want to talk about it anymore. It was a dick move by Warner, but completely forgotten.

Warner's wife doesn't sound petty at all. I love how even in this article they point out that Warner hit him in the back of the head....but be sure to point out that DK was the one that got ejected.
No one cares because we are irrelevant, and because the Chiefs are pissed off about being called for offsides. BUT, this was a pretty big deal if you ask me. He litteraly drilled him in the back of the head, but the guy that grabbed a facemask AFTERWARDS is the one taking all the heat. And "he needs to learn to keep his composure"? So, Fred showed great composure hitting a guy in the back of the head? If that was Richard Sherman ten years ago that is all we would hear is how dirty the LOB is. But, not the wonderful 49ers. His fucking wife calls DK trash and he claims the guy that got hit in the back of the head is the one that lacks composure!?
https://talksport.com/sport/1673083/fre ... -seahawks/"I don’t know what happened," the linebacker said. "I told him he tackled really well, and then for some reason he didn’t like that. I guess what happened, happened. That’s unfortunate.”
"He has to learn to keep his composure," Warner went on.
"But happy we came out with the win."

Same issue and multiple different coordinators. It is a Pete problem now.
