You left out Geno and Urias. I don't think that helps either of those categories. They still need a 3b in my opinion.

Yes agree on both accounts. Urias is in a friend of my Brother's wealth management firm and I guess he is a total dick.Captain 97 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 07, 2024 1:58 amYou left out Geno and Urias. I don't think that helps either of those categories. They still need a 3b in my opinion.

FWIW FanGraphs projects Eugenio Suarez with 2024 WAR and wRC+ of 1.7 and 99 in 146 games while projecting Luis Urias with 2024 WAR and wRC+ of 2.0 and 104 in 110 games:Captain 97 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 07, 2024 1:58 amYou left out Geno and Urias. Of course last year Suarez posted 3.2 fWAR and a 102 wRC+ in 162 games.

Re: Luke Raley for Jose C
Well, since the Rays traded Raley, 2023 could be his high water mark.
Re: Luke Raley for Jose C
Probably easier to calculate the GDP of the US than calculate our payroll given all of the crazy trades and cash transfers but the bottom line is our payroll should be higher than it is. How much higher is up for debate but if they roll with this roster and payroll they are even cheaper than I thought.
