Who?
At this point adding Snell or Bauer then trading a young SP for a bat would be the best option. Or get Bellinger on a short deal.

Chapman isn't even close to a guarantee to be better than Urias/Rojas, and is one of the most likely to die in T-Mobile imo. I wouldn't even take a one year chance on him. Dylan Moore has been as good as Chapman over the last two years, what's the point.

Ok I though Belli was too skinny. They aren't signing Snell because he is to pricey and Bauer will make the lib bitches pee their crotchless panties so we are stuck with Chapman who at least has Man and Chap in his name.

Bellinger wouldn't get a long deal from me. He'll fall off like all skinny boys do.

I'd still trade Woo or Miller personally, but I don't expect they'll do anything else.

And I'll be happy to know they passed on Chapman's weak ass.

I don't know what that means or when it happened. Does it mean anything at all? If he got it after year 1 and a 90 ERA+, I would expect it to be something slightly richer than White's deal. If he got it offer after the 32 start 186 innings of 116 ERA+?

I think Gilbert is gone after this season. They'll trade him right when he's starting to get expensive and with 3 years of control left. Watch for an influx of arms in the next couple of drafts.

I’ve said all along Gilbert would be the guy I would trade. He’s at peak value now, and I think Kirby will be the priority of the 2. I also don’t think they will resign Gilbert, he’s going to sign for the highest bidder in FA. I’d sign Snell, and get the best 3B or corner OF I could for him. Snell gives you at least 1 lefty in the rotation, you improve the lineup, and you still have Castillo, Kirby, Snell, Woo, Miller with Hancock as the 6th starter.
The poster formerly known as Kingfelixk. With a new forum comes a new boardname. Julio is my guy, plus we share a birthday, so that's Culiooooo

But Gilbert is still cheap this year and I think they like that. Next year is when he gets expensive and so I think that's when they'll trade him. On the other hand they could make a more serious offer and maybe buy out some of his free agent years. But they won't overpay.

Tha would be pretty significant news but he's the only one reporting it, who is this guy anyway,? What are his sources? Not believing it until I see someone else report it

I know you don't like to listen to things that will give you insight, but the comment wasn't from Mariner Muse. If you scroll up, it's a podcast with Ryan Divish where he says that.

Right about the 1 hour 14 minute mark.

I didn't pay attention to the time, but Divish also said that when he wrote something ownership didn't like he, "got called to the office", so pretty much confirms the feelings we've had about the local media being muzzled.
