I don't think Rocky has ever said a negative thing about the Mariners lol
You would probably lose a bet there 3-400 times. I just don't make it mission to be negative and disparaging much, much, much of the time. Some people live to criticize. I find it distracting and depressing. Negativity feeds more negativity. laughoutloud, SadM'sFan, formerly _ _ _ _ _ on ST.
Well... I suppose that's one way to go about fandom.

You and Servais would get along great, I think. I subscribe to the notion that when a person performs poorly in a sporting event, telling them so, and sometimes in a not so nice way, acts as a motivator and helps change behavior. Seeing as the M's are never held accountable by the local media for their poor play, lets, as fans, just keep patting them on the back and say, "nice try." It's clearly working.

For instance... Haniger is 0-3 with 2 backwards K's, one swinging. He's leading the league in K's. I don't think a pat on the back and a "go get em' tiger" is the recipe for success anymore when he's leading the league in K's.

We've heard it from Servais a million times. "He'll come around." "That's baseball." "It happens." "These guys will figure it out." "These guys are veterans." "We have a quality ballclub."

How many times does he need to be proven wrong before he's just flat out considered delusional?

That's your slant. I agree the M's suck and have sucked for far too many years to deserve a fan or following. However I doubt Servais or Dipoto read this forum so your subscription has no merit where they are concerned. Blogs and forums attract a lot of anonymous negativity and that is your choice. Yes, I think I would get along with Scott Servais. I might say a decision was a poor choice but I wouldn't resort to calling him a clown.

When have you read that I have ever said give any one of the players or coaches a pat on the back or anything remotely like that?

I would be very public in my negativity if given the proper platform.

Like say it was my job... say my name was Ryan Divish or Larry Stone. I'd be serving Servais his head on a silver platter every night. When I read a Divish game story I want to puke. "Lynn had really good stuff tonight." Only Servais has said the same thing about a pitcher 400 times this season... How about: "I'm tired of being on the losing end of an arm who has a 6 ERA against everyone else. Sometimes your hitters need to be better than the pitcher... and I'm going to challenge my hitters going forward."... How about thaT?

My problem has nothing to do with Servais's decisions. Every manager makes bad choices from time to time. It's his propensity in making bad decisions and blatant comfortability with losing that bothers me. I wouldn't have that opinion if he ever did or said anything different regarding managing a baseball team.

There's 2 back the old fashioned way. See a pitcher third time around, work some walks, base hits and a sacrifice fly in and a couple runs cross the plate.

Tonight I think Long will get his first major league hit. He's 0-10 so far.
Congrats, Mr. Long. First major league hit, a single in the 6th.

Come home to see the Mariners are close late 3-2
and the sh*t-factory that is the Seattle bullpen doesn't disappoint.
and Elias is one of the better arms.
sad and unacceptable.
