"Being that you live there, do you know anything about the tunnels the Jews were crawling out of after one of their synagogues got raided?

I got "Visibility Limited" on X just for saying the term "tunnel jews". Made no sense, so i figure there's definitely something to it..."

How do you exist in the world?

I do remember the local news reports about the tunnels briefly. It was group of young guys that built it? For what wasn't really explained.
When anyone mentions "tunnels" now automatically I think either drug trafficking or some sex crime stuff or minors. I hope it wasn't the latter.

Gods redemption of man began immediately after the fall. Out of the pagan world He chose Abraham....Isaac, and from Jacob....Israel. He chose Israel to demonstrate the one true God to the world. All of the Old Testament points to Jesus Christ, the Messiah. At this pivotal point in Redemptive history Non Jews (Gentiles of faith) are grafted into the kingdom and some Jews are converted to Christ. But for rejection, non belief and killing the Son, God placed a curse on Israel. History is replete with evidence of this. Israel is still under it.
The 'end times' began when Christ was born. They will end when he returns. The Covenant with Israel is eternal...this includes the Land. In short they will come through the tribulation and God will save a remnant.....through faith in His Son.

The part in bold is the problem that people are wrong about, which is exactly why I posted nearly every relevant verse regarding Israel and the old/new covenant in my first post in this thread.

Read through the first 10 or 12 verses on my first post and it's obvious they broke the covenant and it is now obsolete and replaced by believers in Christ.

The Old Covenant (Mosaic) was fulfilled by Christ. The law however remains as a reminder of sin. Salvation has always been by Grace through faith, even under the old Covenant in the old testament.
Obsolete, only in as much as the law could never save one soul. So, yes, obsolete.

So what about Israel ?

Those are great points Mel, I'll definitely reflect on that, especially the "obsolete" verse being in reference to Mosaic covenant, not Abrahamic.

Could certainly change the land issue. Crazy to think they earn the land for no other reason than being circumcised. Lol.

Historically, when their people became degenerates, they lost control of the land.

Personally, I think that's still a point we're at, but they've gained enough power in allied countries, through greed and self-serving interests, to push their agenda and try and take it by force.

Guess we'll see how it goes.

So, will definitely think on the land entitlement issue.

My other two hangups with them are:

1) they've become a culture of degeneracy whose "religion" is based on the works of the pharisees. Their degeneracy has happened throughout history, and seems to be God's plan for them until Jesus return. Ok.

2) But, as stated in this verse:

to me, that doesn't mean people who believe the gospels should act like Jews are infallible or that they're saved by being Jewish and let them try to take land back by force while they're still filled with godlessness. Doing so would be a disservice to them and God if their salvation relies on accepting Jesus as well.

Being a modern follower of Judaism means rejection of Jesus as the Messiah. Otherwise they'd be Christian, not Jewish as far as religion goes.

Thanks for the civil discussion Mel, it's nice when someone knowledgeable about the topic responds instead of just getting told to stop talking about it.

Before the pandemic we had the opportunity to travel to Dubai.
My 30K feet point of view:
The entire middle east are all decedents and tribes of Abraham.
Yet the gap between the rich and poor is ridiculous.
The entire region and way of life is still tribal.

The Emirates live a life we Americans only dream of.
Our dollar and culture is nothing to them.
They only allow us to visit and buy their stuff but we can NEVER
become citizens of their country.
You must be born into their tribe.
The city was safe and clean and modern.
But the Indian people there are clearly their slaves.
It's not perfect for sure but something is clearly working.
Their world is protected from outsiders.

We were told never to go outside the borders of the city or be subject
to laws of the land of other tribes.
Several times during the day people stop and pray.
You hear the prayers recited over load speakers everywhere.
Religion and land and oil and water divide the tribes.

I know nothing of the politics over there but I do respect borders.
America was once the greatest country on earth.
Our wealth, our culture, our safety depended on our sovereignty as a nation.
They have sold us off piece by piece.
Allowed the entire world to waltz in and take over.
I've lived long enough to see illegal immigrants live better than American citizens.
Everyone is given a handout but it seems to keep the piece.
People vote now for common sense or complete idiocrasy.

I'm only bring up Dubai because at least people can coexist when they live relatively comfortable
but still maintain their culture.
I'd argue we are not "tribal" enough here in the states.
If they fix up the Gaza strip and make it like Dubai Israelis and Palestinians would learn to tolerate each other imho.
But treat them like dogs and you're only asking for trouble. People must tired of war.
