In AAA, Tacoma just walked off a 9-8 win on a fielder's choice. Samad Taylor had 3 more hits, up to .341 with a .983 ops.
Please replace Solano AND Mastrobunny with him.
Ford hit a HR. Rhylan Thomas had 2 hits, hitting .301 now.
Logan Gilbert threw 45 pitches (24 strikes) in 1 2/3 innings. Gave up 2 hits, 1 earned run, 2 BB's & 3 K's. Hope the low pitch count was just a pre-set number. He did come out after a 5 pitch walk.

Victor Labrada is having a pretty good season and making a case for himself as a prospect. I imagine we'll see him promoted to AAA in the next few weeks, and maybe even show up in Seattle towards the end of the season.

I mentioned him in another thread just a few days ago. I think he’ll be a 4th of at some point, Good speed and good eye at the plate. Struggled his first few months at AA last year, but he’s been great this season. Not much power though

The 2 are polar opposites. Morales can pitch, it’s whether or not he can develop enough velocity for his stuff to play up. Ford has the stiff, but can he learn how to pitch. It’s interesting that ford has dropped off a lot more in rankings than morales did. Izzi is the hs pitcher from that class that looks best right now.

One other interesting name Dawel Joseph. Big time signing bonus SS from 2024. He hit horribly last year at .133 with OPS of.447 in the DSL at 17. He went 3-4 in the first game with a HR today.
