I was a super frustrated long suffering fan for decades, through 2019, now I just appreciate the pure entertainment value of this spastic group, Nothing is Predictable.

When the pitching is super, no one hits, and vice versa.

When you sense this long winning streak, they choke.

Last night was Quintessential "Your Seattle Mariners!"

Whoever thought that after the guys tied for the most wins in history, 117, in 2001, that in the decades since, they would only make the playoffs ONCE?

And they had 118 in their hands had they not blown a 10-2 lead in the 8th? to the Indians.

No one beats these guys for Pure Entertainment!

So cheer up!

Moore isn't an everyday player - that and he sucks. Add in the fact that he's becoming a real liability in the field as evidenced by his last few games.

Yes we need more players but Young is a good first step. We need Ford up badly so that Cal can actually start taking a few days off so he's not burnt out come August. I don't mind Cal DH'ing though - I think that basically counts as a day off lol - but let Ford start to catch 2-3 games in a 6 day week to rest Cal more.
Raley will be back in week or two and when that happens Tellez will be cut - sad thing is though that Raley sucks also. They seemingly are willing to let Taveras suck at the plate cause he plays good D - although watching last nights game i'd tell him his chances of catching the ball increase dramatically if you keep your eyes open and on the ball, lol.
Disagree.

Moore has been playing like a 3 WAR player.

He has .7 fWAR in 143 plate appearances compared to Williamson who has .1 in 144 plate appearances.

It's not even close.

Even with minimal plate appearances Moore has been our 5th most valuable player behind Cal, Julio, JP, and Randy.

He's far from being one of our problems.

One option for outfield that hasn’t been talked about, Victor Labrada.

.293/.416/.861. 33BB, 35 K, (17 % k rate, 15 % BB rate), 21 SB (49 last season). Pretty good numbers for Arkansas. At least a good bench guy for speed and defense, and he’s not bad against lefties (.804 OPS), although I still expect he’d platoon anyway.

Is Polanco is this years Rojas? Hot april then ass the rest of the year
His April was like the scene at the end of most horror flicks where the killer appears to be dead but comes back to life one last time before finally dying for good. He's dead.
We have to come up with which flick. The gamut runs anywhere from Fatal Attraction where Alex sits up with the knife and screams but then immediately eats lead, or Aliens where the Alien queen hitches a ride through space onto the ship, rips the shit out of Bishop, almost grabs Newt and then has an all-out brawl with Ripley in a cargo loader before getting blasted out of the airlock. I'm thinking Polanco's April was much more Aliens-like.

Could have had him up here paying a minimum wage but instead they flush four and a half million on Tavares absolutely sucks.

Not quite dead, more like a zombie.

Ford and Taylor should be up here. Raley will be back soon as he is scheduled to start his rehab start this week according to Hollander. Gilbert hopefully not too far behind as well. Hollander briefly touched on Robles as "progressing," but still looking like early to mid July for him.

As someone else mentioned, still need a DH (could be Ford if they bring him up) and he can spell Cal on days off (DFA Garver please) and another strong high leverage lefthander for the pen.

As per Daniel Kramer of MLB.com, the 28-year-old outfielder is healing well but is at least six weeks away from beginning baseball activities. General manager Justin Hollander now puts Robles' estimated return in September, in which case he'd have precious little time to get up to speed for a potential playoff run.

Wow, that is disappointing to hear on Robles. I didn't realize the time table was pushed back that far. I wonder if they will go out and get a replacement in the interim. My guess is they won't and probably just ride Taveras until the wheels fall off.
