Does WAR take into account actual run production on the field, because Julio has been terrible with men on base so how the fuck is he the 3rd highest WAR OF in the league? His D can't account for all of it.

On the LEFT is Julio vs. On the RIGHT is Dever's numbers.

You're correct Julio will show a higher WAR number. He's younger and his defense as a center fielder.
However, I would argue Devers is the better bat.

Julio is 10th in defensive WAR. 60th in offensive WAR.

Devers is 14th in offensive WAR. 150th in defensive WAR.

I think defensive stats should be equal to offensive stats... but that's the difference.

Gilbert as usual dominating but those few hits he gives up are huge. Guys with WHIPS under 0.90 should have ERAs under 2, not over 3.
