It appears they are hitting him 4th against righties and swapping he/Randy against lefties.

He's a .872 OPS hitter vs righties this year.

So that's probably why.

In other news, it seems Solano and Moore are casualties when trades are made given their current playing time.

He's a good hitter and he's got more pop than his HR total would indicate, plus it's a good matchup for him today. I think it'll work out.

Well that sort of makes sense but i'd put him 3rd ahead of Cal. He's still more of an on-base guy than a power hitter.
