Vs. the Orioles' starting pitchers the Mariners had 12 hits, 2 walks, 14 strikeouts, and 3 runs in 20.1 innings.

S.B.!!! Take us to the promised land brother!
The Mets are loaded with talent but are playing like crap, they're 1-9 in their last 10 games.
Which means they'll probably sweep us now.
No seriously there is no reason why we can't win the series eventhough playing in NY is tough.
We just need to win series from this point on and we'll get our shot.
Don't screw this up Jerry and Dan anymore than you have already!
LET's FREAKIN GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On a side note.....what do you guys think about Logan Evans.
Granted there was a rain delay yesterday.
BUT...he's been crappy lately.
Do we really have no one else to put in that 5th starting role???
Again, couldva wouldva shouldva been an area to explore at the trade deadline I'd argue.
A veteran 5th starter role to at least give us a shot of winning a few games until playoffs when you don't need him anymore.
Just saying.
Emerson Hancock anyone?!?! Is he any better?

Miller replaces Evans and Miller maybe competes for post-season starter role.

Evans doesn't have a strikeout pitch and I can't see him amounting to much. Hancock is probably done. We just have to keep our fingers crossed that Miller will come back and pitches the way he can. If we could just get those five guys clicking the way they did last year we'd have a very good chance of winning the whole thing.seattlefan-daBronx wrote: ↑Fri Aug 15, 2025 3:52 pmOn a side note.....what do you guys think about Logan Evans.

They'd have a decent chance to make it to the WS at least, Dbacks anybody or Padres? There's really not a lot standing in their way,DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 15, 2025 4:25 pmEvans doesn't have a strikeout pitch and I can't see him amounting to much. Hancock is probably done. Thinking off hand of teams that advanced to a WS without becoming powerhouses, took advantage of a path
