What about signing Murakami, any thoughts on that? Or just move one of Polanco or Young over. Either way I don't think Geno is back next year.

This whole win streak I've been on a vacation in a faraway land without good enough internet to watch or listen to games, but good enough to follow online.

I'll be here in Uganda another 4 days. If the streak continues, I'll consider postponing my return for the good of the team.

Hey, good idea.

I want Murakami.

There is no reason why they can't make him an M.

I think Ben W will grow into an above average 3Bman, with 15-20 HR potential and far less K's.

And if Moncada could be acquired, good for us.
It is possible but he is already fully grown at almost 25 yo. Maybe his new swing is real but I will never trust PCL stats. At least he has now passed Russell Wilson for minor league HRs. lol
You keep bringing up minor league numbers, I'm perfectly Happy to stick to major league numbers. Seemed to me he showed pretty good bat to ball skills
.604 OPS for a 3B is pathetic.

Young doesn't have the arm to play 3B, they already tried Polanco at 3B and that was a fail that led to BW being promoted. Murakami is an option if Jerry lifts the ban on Japanese players that he imposed after the Kikuchi $43M money flush nightmare .

Was gonna say, you better stay away. I stopped watching and they won two on the road. Haven't watched since....so you guys are welcome. Of course? I really didn't watch much anyway. But I promise you they lose way more than they win when I watch!

I believe the thinking that certain positions are required to produce a certain ops is getting to be a dinosaur. I was going to say the only position left where it might apply is first base but that's changing too. You got Arráez there now with a .707 ops. One can argue a .604 ops is pathetic period but where it plays I think has gotten less important. You have four infield positions. I think the combination of defense and offense terms of a players value applies pretty equally across them these days

BR massively over values defense. 0.3 fWAR FG should always be used for position players. He had almost 300 PAs so that is a 0.6 fWAR pace. Horrible.
