I actually think it’s the damn 35 yard line, but maybe I am mistaken.

I've never seen a kickoff so butchered in my life! The soccer equivalent is an own goal lol. If you do that in soccer in Argentina, they find your body in the trunk of a burned out Peugeot the following week.
Couldn't believe he did that, and then luckily for us the ball stopped rolling juuuuuust before it would have gone out of the end zone.
George Holani Fan Club right here. I thought he might have gone out of the end zone before he had possession of the ball, but he scooped it perfectly. That ball came to rest like one of my putts I leave short. It just died lol. I had a sick feeling we were going to dump this game until that happened.
When he flipped the ball to the ref, at first I thought he bumbled it. Just a really intense moment until we snapped the ball on the PAT.

It is the 35 yard line, and it looks like they've come up with a good balance between getting guys to return kicks and potentially break one, and not having someone fly down the field and Fredd Young somebody's block off. https://www.reddit.com/r/Seahawks/comme ... _mnf_1984/

Trump yesterday called the new rule "sissification" of the game. Odd, because before in recent years it's been touchback after touchback after touchback. Of course, his favorite team is the Squeelers. :D

So did I! Almost like an optical illusion. I thought he was running to fast and had botched it. He had plenty of time.

I don't know why guys are in such a hurry to get rid of the ball when the score. So many bonehead plays in recent years when guys drip the ball intentional before getting into the end zone.

No kidding, I'd actually prefer that our guys poop the football just so they'd maintain possession long enough. :D

That was so F-ing dumb and gross. I can't remember if he got a penalty for that but I think the bad Karma might have cost us the game....

If you are talking about Doug Baldwin in the second SB, he for sure did get a penalty. The way I remember, the penalty was assessed on the kickoff and it resulted in excellent field position for the Patriots. I'm still pretty pissed off at Baldwin about it. A very selfish move.

Pretty sure that was the first of the two unanswered TDs the LOB gave up. A part of me has always wondered if the LOB was so mad about Russ throwing it because they lost the Super Bowl, or because it would now be amplified that the "Greatest Defense of the Decade" gave up a two score fourth quarter lead? We lost in such an epic way? No one ever talks about it. BUT, imagine if Kearse doesn't make the circus catch on that desperation heave? The LOB's legacy might just be that they blew that game.
