What's going on in Detroit? Why are they collapsing?

Because I grew up in Michigan and I root for MY Seattle Mariners :D
Rocky Colavito is a Hall of Famer in my book!

You just know this team is going to sweep Colorado to clinch this sucker at home
Well all six games are at home I think there is a good chance we clinch at home. lol I am going to T Mobile Friday the first time in 7 years. I have seen them play at Fenway, Citi field, Yankee Stadium and in Anaheim since then.

That set up Raleigh, who stepped to the plate -- after Randy Arozarena ripped a one-out single to snap an 0-for-21 on this road trip -- and lasered an 0-1 changeup into the tunnel just beyond the right-field foul pole. It was the same pitch that Raleigh struck out on in his first at-bat, illustrating a midgame adjustment.

If the red-hot Mariners stumble to 1-2 against the Rockies and 1-2 against the Dodgers, the slumping Astros would need to go 6-0 against the Athletics and Angels to overtake the Mariners.

Seattle fans should like those odds.

3-0 against the worst team in the league then rest some guys. I would. How much rest is too much though.

I'll settle for 4 but would love 5
I'd settle for 2 more. But 3,4,5, even better.

Although it sounds funny to say, the M's are missing all of the Rockies starters with any pedigree.

The guy they're facing first has an ERA over 9.00 and a WHIP over 2.00 in 4 starts.

The next guy has an ERA at 6.00 and a 1.5 WHIP.

The next guy has an ERA over 9.00 and a 1.8 WHIP.

Score lots of runs.

Mariners win! We're HEROES!!!

If it wasn't for Vargas, that would have been a total three-game annihilation. Kind of was anyway, wasn't it?

The will have 5 days rest after the season. That should be plenty.
