Tis a great day to be a Husky!
Blowout wins for both teams on the same day. When was the last time that happened.

Huskies play their best game of the season in the Whogivesashit Bowl. Figures...
Re: Tis a great day to be a Husky!
Just hoping the new investigation being launched into Michigan with "lack of institutional control" being bandied is enough to give Fisch pause in jumping to Ann Arbor. With all the Fisch movement talk it was widely assumed that Demond (and some others) would likely follow, but Wolverines have the highest NIL player returning for his true sophomore year. Of course he'd still likely portal out somewhere else, but sayin there's a chance.

Man, that was just a complete butt-whooping, even though the Dawgs pretty much called themselves off in the second half.

I don't follow the sport even a little bit but apparently the Men's Soccer Team just won a Natty. Seems like were are good in all the sports that I don't care about. Volleyball, Softball, Soccer, Crew, Distance Running......

Let's hope the mood in here doesn't change once Michigan announces their new head coach.
Re: Tis a great day to be a Husky!
We heard since the day he was hired that he was a LOCK to got to Florida and that didn't happen so I doubt it happens. I didn't like his answer to the question though, will you be at UW next season and he said, Yes I expect to be..Michael K. wrote: ↑Tue Dec 16, 2025 7:18 pmLet's hope the mood in here doesn't change once Michigan announces their new head coach.

Believe it or not, you can gamble on anything. They said on Brock and Salk this morning that Vegas has the best odds on Fisch taking over at Michigan. They didn't say what those odds were though, so maybe there are four names, and he has just over 25%, or what ever. But still. Brock basically said it boils down to three things. He brings in talent, did so at AZ, and did so here. He has done a great job of working with QBs. And he has a history of being a climber. Brock said Michigan is a top three to five job in college. That seems high to me, but it would sure suck to lose him to another Big Ten school.D-train wrote: ↑Tue Dec 16, 2025 10:27 pmWe heard since the day he was hired that he was a LOCK to got to Florida and that didn't happen so I doubt it happens. Re: Tis a great day to be a Husky!
I just looked at several betting sites.
Bet Online has Dillingham the favorite at -150, Fisch at +110 and Deboer at +550
Bookies .com has Fisch the favorite at +350 with Dillingham 2nd at +500 and Deboer at +650
Vegas Insider has Dillingham at 33%, Fisch at 15% and Deboer at 11%
OddsChecker.com has Dillingham at 31% Deboer at 14% and Fisch at 13%
Covers.com has Dillingham at 33% Fisch at 17% and Deboer at 13%
My thought that is if Dillingham or Fisch were the first choice, the hire would have already been made. I think they want Deboer and are waiting until Alabama is out of the playoffs to see if they can convince him to come.

The bottom line is that Fisch is gone if he gets the offer. Is this the kind of person you want to keep around? If he's still here in the final year of his contract I hope UW keeps him guessing about their intentions to try to keep him here and starts interviewing his possible replacements in secret, then let's him walk at the end of the season.
