I don't think it's going to happen. I also didn't think Geno would ever be a Mariner again after we traded him to the Daimondbacks. But I do know that the M's actively pursued Polanco only to be outbid by the Mets. And furthermore, we've all seen New York spend stupid money on rosters and didn't do jack. Chemistry plays a big part of roster construction. You and I both know that. Predictions are all bullshit anyways. Might as well crown the Dodgers World Champs for the rest of the century if we went off of predictions. Lol I can see a world where the Mets still suck and are looking to dump salary because they aren't in the playoff hunt.

It is crazy because they only won 76 games last season. Expected to improve by 15 games. I know they were hurt last season but still. I don't know of any moves they made.

They lost some pieces as well. But yeah, they aren't blowing the team up because of a disappointing season. They will continue to reload. That's the deal with making Juan Soto types of additions. Your paying an astronomical amount of money for a limited number of prime seasons. You are not wasting them busting your team up
