Wilson's collapse was pretty epic. He went from underdog, to over achieving fan favorite and SB winner, to self absorbed narcissist the fans learned to loathe - then gets his wist to go to Denver, to be the star of (his own) show, only to flame out in epic proportion. If he hadn't turned into the colossal jackass he did - deciding his 'legacy' was more important than the team - I'd alm ost fgeel sorry for him. Getting boo'd off the field in NY was the most on-point response to Wilson - everyone was tired of his ridiculous schtic - every calculated sound bite ot appearance - devouring attention - demanding attention - just fucking gross. Dude is still out there trying to be relevant. It's kinda sad, really. ASll he evber had to do was just be the seahawks QB - but he decised he was a brand bigger than the seahawks. Never forget that playoff loss the the lambs - he was so un prepared it was the greatrest embarrassment - because he was pouting he wasn't MVP whbile shilling his scam water. What a colossal douchebag. I have celebrated every rung he has fallen on the ladder because of that shit.

So true, and he has nobody to blame but himself. Imagine if he had just played the game, made his millions and then simply retired. Rather than be remembered as an absolute clown, he would have been remembered as a solid athlete, a team player and an all around good guy.

Too bad the ego and money went to his head. His wife must be as nutty as he is. He's the definition of cringe.

His biggest FU was that pick that cost us a SB yet nobody ever gives him an ounce of blame. Imagine if Sam had done that. He would have been crucified.

Dude! Seriously? You must not have watched the NFL Network much back in the day. She is an absolute knockout!

I'm just understanding the deal with Crosby. He's pissed they put him on IR when he feels he was healthy, the reason being to tank for the number one pick. I mean to keep this raiders specific. Look at the history of qbs like darnold, or Geno for that matter, Baker Mayfield. Simply put the issue is churning through coaches after you have drafted them. The lack of continuity when you are trying to develop a qb. So the raiders succeeded in landing a possible franchise qb at the cost of their franchise edge rusher. They've also been through what, five HCs in the last six years? It's like screaming at the screen at a slasher movie, turn around! They have to understand at this point they can't continue to operate like that. I think it puts kubiak in a strong position. They brought on the pro from Dover. He's explained to them the process for developing Mendoza. They have to sit still and go along with it don't they? By the way they fired the coaching staff including Brennan Carroll
It's not just the coaching position, it's running guys like Darnold out there that not only aren't ready to play QB in the NFL, but they also have inferior supporting casts. Tom Brady didn't start right away, Patrick Mahomes didn't start right away. You'd think that people would see that two of the most successful QBs in this ERA didn't start right out of the gates. The pressure is so high right now. I mean, who the fuck thinks that a team bad enough to have a top 5 pick in the draft is going to be good enough the next year to win with a Rookie QB?

Sam Darnold was the #3 over all pick, and was thrust out there because that was what was expected. People scoffed when the Packers took Rodgers and sat him. Same with Mahomes. Hell, the Falcons couldn't help themselves, and IMO? Went to Penix too early. Let these guys develop. For every Manning, there is a Mahomes, but for ever Brady? There are about fifty Geno's.

It's a good point, but the ridiculous nature of the play call is what diverts a lot of it. And I don't mean throwing it. They had to throw it at least once, since Pete values timeouts less than his fucking chewing gum. But a slant to the gunner on the punt team? Russ has the advantage of being less to blame than the Coach, OC and WR. It's actually an accurate assessment.

How many HCs OCs and WRs were blamed when Darold threw his INTs. None. I get it but if RW just pump fakes after seeing it was too tight of a window and rolls right it is there a walk in TD to the Pylon or a throw away to live another day.

This parade is awesome.
