Re: 2026 Prospects Thread
Baseball America’s latest Top 100 update gave Seattle another receipt. Colt Emerson checked in at No. 4, Kade Anderson at No. 9, Ryan Sloan at No. 20, Lazaro Montes at No. 60 and Michael Arroyo at No. 87. That’s a loud showing for any organization. It is even louder when all five are already at Double-A or higher
Re: 2026 Prospects Thread
Emerson is the most overrated prospect in M's history since Al Chambers.... .232/.772 and a 29.2% K Rate Obviously young for AAA but turns 21 in July so not really a baby especially compared to Griffey and ARod. Kelenic was 1 year older but put up .320/1.016Donn Beach wrote: ↑Fri May 08, 2026 4:43 amBaseball America’s latest Top 100 update gave Seattle another receipt. Here's an upbeat look at him, who knows, maybe he'll be good. So they are playing him at SS

Re: 2026 Prospects Thread
Harry Ford hitting 0.185 , oBP of 0.295 and only slugging 0.215 with ops of 0.500 Trade isn’t looking bad and he may have been over rated
Re: 2026 Prospects Thread
I can't fathom what happened to him. PCL is obviously a hitters league and the International league isn't but that is an insane implosion. I guess I was right when I said we were dumb for drafting him at the time. Kahlil Watson is now a CF in AAA in Cleveland's system. .853 OPS.
Maybe he can take over for Steven Kwan who all the dopes were lusting over. .576 OPS and -0.1 bWAR. lol

Re: 2026 Prospects Thread
His K/BB ratio is has gone down this year. It could be that the organization is trying to get him to be more aggressive at the plate, which isn't really his game.D-train wrote: ↑Fri May 08, 2026 5:47 pmI can't fathom what happened to him. Re: 2026 Prospects Thread
Maybe that is part of it but a .359 reduction in OPS by a 23 yo at the same level is just inexplicable...GL_Storm wrote: ↑Fri May 08, 2026 8:12 pmHis K/BB ratio is has gone down this year. Re: 2026 Prospects Thread
Something's going on with him. There's a fairly long track record at this point and youth is on his side, so I imagine we'll see some positive regression. Did you see that Dylan Crews and Robert Hassell III are on that Rochester team as well? It's kind of interesting. Crews was rushed to the major leagues so maybe they're trying to make up for that now.D-train wrote: ↑Fri May 08, 2026 9:06 pmMaybe that is part of it but a .359 reduction in OPS by a 23 yo at the same level is just inexplicable...GL_Storm wrote: ↑Fri May 08, 2026 8:12 pmHis K/BB ratio is has gone down this year.
