Oh, I know, they are not as good as they were last year, and they don't' give a shit because they weren't going to spend the money to be better than last year. Look at the lineup that played in October, and tell me that there would have been room for Refsnyder, Rivas, Garver, Jo or Robles? Oh, and now that Cole Young has cooled off, we aren't any better off with him than we were with Polanco.

Their key platoon guy is hitting .116 with a .456 OPS vs. LHPs and they start him vs. all LH starters and PH them in them in the middle of games benching far better hitters resulting in them inevitably getting PAs in key situations vs. RH relievers but that isn't part of the problem???

They are currently 21-23. On June 11th last season they were 33-34. Its always because of the half ass Frankenstein roster construction and platoons.

Yes it is because they don't just start them vs. LHPs they PH them in the middle of almost ever game they don't start.
