Again this bullpen is so good. Great to see the new guys really step up with injuries hitting hard right now. Fantastic work. Davila and Gonzalez shut them down rest of the way.
Damnnnnn As took the lead late fkkkkkkk. Langeliers seriously having a catching season of the ages. High avg power. Would give anything to get him!!!!

Simpson is gone. Hoppe should only be used in mop up. Davila and Gonzalez earning bigger spots.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Thu May 14, 2026 9:10 pmCertainly seems to be better with Legumina and Wilcox gone. Now if they can get rid of Simpson and Hoppe...

Mariners win! We're HEROES!!!
That's how you emphatically take a series and effectively end somebody else's season in May.

Just saw a stat on K Marte, WRC of 78 vs young 98. Cole much cheaper and has been hitting over 0.300 with runners in scoring position. Glad we stayed away from Marte

Yeah, I think dipoto should get credit for resisting doing it. I couldn't understand why not to do it
I just noticed the season Seager is having. Hitting. 178 currently 0-27, ouch

An article on trading for Matt Chapman. With four more years at $25 mil seems unlikely. The Giants might be a more likely trading partner than the Astros though I don't see the mariners in the market for bloated contracts. They could use a 3rd baseman next season. Emerson at SS, Donovan in left field. And it could be a nice spark for this season. There's your right handed bat. I'm beginning to warm to the idea. Trade Castillo for himOn a surface level, the Mariners look impressive in entering Tuesday's action having allowed the seventh-fewest runs in the majors. However, this hasn't been helped by a defense that has suffered repeated lapses and ranks 27th with a horrendous -10.2 defensive fWAR. As such, the latest trade speculation is something which should interest the fanbase, as a way to strengthen one of the weakest defensive positions but also not rush the future

The only way they would trade for Chapman is if the Giants covered a significant portion of that contract.
