I see people talking about Taylor Ward, and it's exactly the kind of trap Dipoto's dumbass would walk into.

"He hits lefties!"

And then he gets here and Dipoto plays him only against lefties while they're currently ~25% of his plate appearances and then he'll wonder why Ward stops hitting when he's only facing lefties.

Currently has 477 plate appearances. Only 128 of them against LHP.

Without the steady playing time, he dies like every other player Dipoto tries to drop in a platoon.
Exactly....Everyone makes mistakes but when you make them over and over and over you are a moron. Jerry is a moron....

…and expect a different outcome.

Isn’t that the definition of insanity?

I just heard that Donovan was 0 for 20 in his rehab playing.

Sounds perfect - he’ll fit right in with this roster of ball whiffing goobers. Suit him up and put him in the lineup.

Seems like a MASSIVE overpay by Boston.

24 year old starting pitcher with a 3.44 ERA and 5 years of control for a former burnt top prospect with similar control...

Mead was a consensus top 30 prospect a few years back but floundered around... this year he has 17 homers and a .856 OPS.

Red Sox fans are pissed.
This would appear to be about the market for Hancock.

It happens... I once thought Weaver would make a great reliver.

Jerry DFA'd him.

Now he's one of the game's top bullpen arms.

The Nationals are basically the 1996 Mariners.

2x young players with OPS's over 1.000 and won't make the playoffs.

Magine when JP Crawford looks in the mirror... does he wonder why he can't be CJ Abrams?

GIVE THE MOON FOR ABRAMS.
