Re: 2026 Prospects Thread
Other than his one inning in the futures game, Kade hasn't pitched since July 3rd. They don't have him listed as the probable starter until Friday. that's a full 3 weeks off. I wonder what the thought is behind that.
Re: 2026 Prospects Thread
Walter Ford now with a 6.72 ERA after the first inning the for the ASox. Probably the end of the line for him.

So when they bring him up they can say they need to limit his innings....Captain 97 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 23, 2026 4:58 pmOther than his one inning in the futures game, Kade hasn't pitched since July 3rd. Re: 2026 Prospects Thread
Does anybody realize that in the last week or two, Jerry has signed 8 free agents?
4 RHPs

3 Catchers

and an Outfielder
Why is this not a top topic of discussion?
Reinforcements are on the way. Our problems are over.

Keith Law. Prospect Genius. lol
Keith Law of The Athletic ranked Seattle Mariners shortstop Colt Emerson as the No. 4 prospect in baseball in his pre-season Top 100 list published in January 2026

Re: 2026 Prospects Thread
Where else do you want it put? It's certainly not worthy of a new topic.
In my opinion, all are shit prospects or other teams failures (hoping for a reverse jinx on some).
You always chide members when they start a nothing thread so I added it to the closest thread without starting a new one. I'm not going to take the time to find a separate "free agent" thread or a "claims" post. There aren't any. With that in mind, most can be classified as prospects. Some are as young as 20 or 21. Prospects. Weak ass prospects, but.....prospects.
Yes, some have MLB experience or AAA time.
I lumped it all into a nothing burger post on the prospects thread.
Jerry has actually signed, since mid-July, perhaps 13 FA's, including waiver claims. 8 RHPs, 3 Catchers, 3 french hens, 2 turtle doves 1 SS and an Outfielder in a pear tree.
Had to do something to make up for the devastating losses of Garver, Refs, Buddy and Casey Lawrence.
C Willie MacIver, 29, fills Pereda's place in Tacoma.
C Jake Harvey, 22, fresh out of Nevada, undrafted, because every org needs catchers. A prospect.
C Jacob Galloway, 22, Oregon State Beaver grad, because every org needs catchers. A prospect.

Damn brother, didn't mean to trigger you. Sorry! I usually just throw misc. stuff in the latest game thread. Agree doesn't warrant a new thread. Not a big deal....rockycola wrote: ↑Thu Aug 13, 2026 7:06 amWhere else do you want it put? It's certainly not worthy of a new topic.
