Chuck Powell had brutal takes on some of the players this morning. Said it was clear Naylor quit on the season a while ago and implied that JP is selfish and not a team player. And Julio just doesn't have the makeup to be a star type of player.
That about sums it up. Did he lay off Cal?

This team needs to be torn apart. Plain and simple. Selling would make the biggest difference otherwise it just will never change

Cal started this off by refusing to shake Randy’s hand at wbc.

Karma?

Brutal as in bad takes or Brutally Honest...
The latter. He used as an example JP's game ending plate appearance yesterday where it was obvious that the pitcher was having trouble throwing strikes, but instead of trying to load the bases for Randy by taking a walk he tried to be the hero and jack one out of the park.

Only reason I am watching games at the point is because of Laz...

I think with Julio you have to take the concussion into account. If you look at his month by month splits, there's a pretty glaring difference after the event vs. before.

And our biggest trade piece of the off season is in Hospice because of one...

Laz more than living up to expectations. The high K rate and .231 BA is more than acceptable when he is slugging over .600 for a .931 OPS.
Sure, but he needs to keep it up. Emerson got off to pretty good start too didn't he?

Colts first 41 at bats .244/ .340/ .512/ .853

Yeah, I don't think it's really living up to expectations, it wouldn't really matter either way at this point. The one thing that stands out I think was the home run. That has been the significant event. Like Young hitting that one
