What happened to Washington? Last week in the "Apple Cup" I watched this team cheap shot the Cougs all day long - WTF was that? Thanks to the collapse of the PAC 12, Wazzu is basically a glorified high school team - was that kind of play really necessary? Never saw a dirty Husky team before last weekend. Utah State was feisty, looked faster everywhere - Washington was just sleep walking. WTF is going in in Montlake? Dirty football? Shitty football? Is Jedd on his way out?

Just realized that Utah State is in the PAC 12. Also saw a bit of the Boise State game - wild seeing the PAC 12 logo on the blue turf.

Wazzu always used to have a great offense - they can't just can't recruit there anymore. COllege football is better when Wazzu is competitive whethor you hate them or not - it just is.

Well, at least Oregon lost and Texas won - which means Ohio State LOST.

When Demond Williams made it known he wanted to leave the program with his attempt to transfer out, i think that had a corrosive affect on team chemistry. And i think Jedd is probably looking to get out of here as well and at least some of the players probably sense that. Basically, the players are playing for themselves and don't give a shit about the team or the University. Sad state of affairs.

That is certainly not only happening here. This is a big reason College Football is in trouble, IMO.

I equate it to Travel Ball in the sport I coach. We can't get High School kids to know how to compete, or to be a part of a team, because they play for ten different travel ball teams over the course of careers because if they aren't playing the position they want they simply go to another program. No one works to get better, no one has any loyalty....because they don't have to. It's the most selfish generation of athletes I've ever been associated with.

So next game is against Eastern Washington which is 1-2 against the likes of Northern Arizona, Northern Iowa and South Dakota. The Dawgs are 43 1/2 point favorites so they should win by something like 23-13.

I could see it being a one score game and we punt it back to them late in the 4th. I just can't get excited about a Fisch coached team. They don't play disciplined, they don't execute well on offense....it's basically street ball, and now they don't have the playmakers to bail them out when they play street ball.

The QB throws with ZERO anticipation. If you have to see a guy open? It's often too late. I can't imagine what is going to happen when they start playing difficult competition. It could be very ugly....maybe not Lake ugly, but I am a bit worried.
