He had one screen pass where he could have taken it to the house most likely, but instead of following the three blockers in front of him, he veered directly into the lone tackler. I don't think RS is a very intelligent player. Fair catches with no one within 15 yards? Give me a break.
With the effort (or lack thereof) he's giving out there, he is giving off quite a Josh Naylor vibe which is baffling considering that Naylor plays with a bunch of clowns while Shaheed plays for the best team in football.

I have a hard time believing SHaheed is slacking - especially on this team that demand accountability from the players - BY the players. I agree there have been underwhelming fair catches where I was like WTF, and he's whiffed on a couple catches, but I think it's a bit premature to be making any grand conclusions of laziness or failure. Good grief, two games into an undefeated season and people's hair is on fire over Rasheed Shaheed. Let that sink in.

The issues with having a left handed qb. To begin with you have to flip all the plays, weird. Falcons have two of them
The Falcons finally get one of their lefties back this week, and the stakes are high. Penix will start in primetime Thursday on the road against the Green Bay Packers (8:15 p.m. ET, Prime Video).

Only 33 left-handed quarterbacks have made an NFL appearance, and just two -- Steve Young and Ken Stabler -- are in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. What makes the left-handed QB unique isn't just which side he passes from, but how the ball spins and curves. Teams have to draw plays differently and make sure the right tackle -- as opposed to the left for righties -- is ready to protect the blind side.

"If you think about the number of lefties in NFL history, abnormally few," Young told ESPN recently. "Just from a data perspective, it doesn't make sense how few quarterbacks are lefty

From that article, Steve Young almost didn't get to be a qb
YOUNG WAS A freshman at BYU in 1980. Doug Scovil was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach and as Young tells it, he had an aversion to left-handed QBs.

"[Scovil] told me midseason that he hated coaching lefties and that he wasn't going to coach me," Young said. "So, they literally moved me to defense because I was lefty."

Despite the position change, Young continued to throw with the quarterbacks whenever he could. The following season, Scovil left for San Diego State and Ted Tollner became BYU's quarterbacks coach. Tollner saw Young throwing one day and wondered why his position on the roster was different.

"[He] stopped me and said, 'I thought you played quarterback,'" Young said. "And I go, 'I do, but they said I'm lefty, they won't let me play quarterback.' And he's like, 'That's ridiculous

Darnold was a full participant Thursday. It's looking like Darnold could be back for the commanders
Macdonald said Wednesday the team will likely decide by the end of Friday whether he'll start against Washington, but the coach said, "It's on a good track right now
