Loved what Bod did for the troops but he was probably my least fav comedian of all time.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2026 1:47 amYeah, that's the origin of Guardian. Named in honor of Bob Hope's father, that's kinda wild
In the early 1980s, the bridge was closed for repair and upon reopening, it was renamed the Hope Memorial Bridge in honor of Bob Hope’s father who was a Cleveland stonemason. Recently, the Guardians have come to symbolize the spirit of Cleveland – resilient, hard working and loyal.

Because he is totally healthy. No more pain in the ass.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2026 1:55 amI would almost rather they didn't use Darnold unless they were losing at halftime with Lock at QB. Why take any risks?

I'm gonna assume there isn't a lot of risk. It being a soft tissue issue rather than a joint issue reduces the risk
whatever that means
whatever that means
Because glute tendon strains rely heavily on explosive hip extension, the primary remaining risk is minor tightness or early game fatigue, rather than high-risk structural instability.

reading about Riley Mills, looks like that draft decision could be paying off. Wonder about Arroyo now, another health gamble

Bob Hope, 20th centuries most popular comedian. But he hung around too long, became an anachronism. You are right in the demographic probably where his reputation diminished

Matt Hasslebeck was on Wyman and Boob on Friday and he reminded them and me that he had the same injuryD-train wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2026 2:03 amBecause he is totally healthy. as Sam back in the day. His butt got hurt against TB in a shitty game. The next game was against the Lambs for the
shameful NFC west losing record entry into the playoffs. Pete went with Charlie Whitehurst for that game, even
though Matt wanted to play. Hass confirmed he was pissed, which is what I remember watching him on the sidelines.
Hass said Pete told him it's because he likely couldn't run well with his butt, yada, yada BS etc. To this day, I
believe Pete Started Whitehurst to give the Seahawks the "best chance to lose". For better draft position for the
next draft on his budding team.
As it turned out, Whitehurst won the game and the Seahawks went to the playoffs at home against NO.
Beastquake. A game that arguably marked the turning point for the Pete Carroll era Seahawks. Hass was the
QB for Beastquake. He had missed one game with the butt. Same as Sam here.

I was at that game. One of my top 5 all time sporting events that I saw live. Just an unreal hugging strangers type of moment.trharder wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2026 4:47 pmMatt Hasslebeck was on Wyman and Boob on Friday and he reminded them and me that he had the same injuryD-train wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2026 2:03 amBecause he is totally healthy.
