I truly think 75% of Sam's decline is directly related to Fleury's bizarre play calling - rarely putting sam or the offense a position to win. Schemes are not working, receivers are not creating space except for JSN. 25% is due to a myriad of critical injuries, and now an online shuffle mid season. None of this is helping him or his confidence. We have seen what he can do. Fleury is not putting him in positions where he can succeed. It's astonishing to watch. Everyone wants a fall guy right now - I think this is more a cumulative scenario of awful things in succession.Michael K. wrote: ↑Wed Nov 04, 2026 7:54 pmJust heard that. So, if Lock gets to 3 and 0, and Sam is still sitting there at 2 and 4? How do you not make that move? Watch Sam end up on the IR, and then just never come off. He is broken, sorry, but it's true. I think it is 75% because Fleury is an idiot, but Sam couldn't pick himself up and over come. That's on him.

It helps that we're playing the Cards and should beat them easily. If we keep Lock in there we're a playoff team as the schedule is now much more favorable.Michael K. wrote: ↑Wed Nov 04, 2026 7:54 pmJust heard that. For the love of God do not pencil in a win vs the cards. They ruined us in the PC era every single fucking time we assumed we would beat them.they are really feisty right now. Do not underestimate them. This is exactly the type of game they can win

Not sure if you guys have been paying attention, but Lock has been on the injury report with a elbow injury. He was literally the emergency QB for the Monday night game, not the backup.DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 04, 2026 8:30 pmIt helps that we're playing the Cards and should beat them easily. But didn't they announce him as the starter this week? Hard to imagine they'd do that if there was doubt that his "injury" was serious. I half believe they did this to try and quiet the talk about having Lock take over. But it's inevitable now. Sam needs a psychiatrist more than a QB coach right now.
As to the Cards? They are a better team on the road than they are at home. This game worries me.

How did he hurt his elbow? Is the clipboard really that heavy?
I think that the team is going to play some really pissed-off football on Sunday and knock Minshew's hair off.Michael K. wrote: ↑Wed Nov 04, 2026 8:45 pmAs to the Cards? They are a better team on the road than they are at home. This game worries me.

Lol, we are the bad news bears. How do you hurt your elbow not playing. Can milroe run the option? We have an all pro guard on the left. Even Fleury can't fuck up "option left". This season is getting comical. People want darnold out? Careful what you wish for. We are officially in trouble. Thank God we hung banner last year
Re: Post Mortem: Sea v Chicago
As usual, we don't know the extent of the elbow. If it's just like a sore elbow that they were letting heal up naturally since he probably wouldn't play anyway, then they could probably cortizone it and load him up on Toradol and he'd be fine, but they don't tell us stuff like that.auroraave wrote: ↑Wed Nov 04, 2026 10:56 pmLol, we are the bad news bears.
