If he turned down 17 million and we are offering less than 14, that might be an issue. I think we are seeing that his supposed love affair with playing here might not be quite as big a deal as let on. If all offers are pretty much the same, what is his end game? He is going to wait it out and see if someone panics and over pays. In most years that might make a little sense, but does anyone think people are going to be getting injured in OTAs this year? They probably won't even happen.

I think he is making a mistake. BUT, as a Seahawk fan, I often times think the players are making mistakes.

Yep. Call me crazy but I would rather have ONE Pro bowl stud lineman than another Ziggy and the four backup OL we signed.

If the Rams had a bad pass rush last year, lost the only real pass rusher they had and added Bruce Irvin, not ONE poster in here would talk about how the Rams are better. But, for many, if Pete and John shit in their mouth they would talk about the benefits of added protein from human feces and how dare we not understand!

I can understand the debate of is Clowney worth it or not. But I can't understand how anyone looks at this team and sees a better version than what we had.

I think they should cut Britt lose 9M
cut/ trade T Thompson S. 2.1-2.3 M
Ed Dickson 3M
14M

Maybe even
KJ Wright 7.5 M
Bradley McDougald 4+ M

I think the 1`st 3 should be absolutely for sure. The next two are pretty good starters but 11.5M more could get you an excellent player.

I do get some of the angst over spending money on crap players. My crap list is:

Joey Hunt(AKA Rag doll) 2.133 Million he got manhandled and PFF of 56.5 supports this thought.

I just look at the above group very little chance of being decent or above average starters (KJ, Britt, McDougald) but even if you kept all 3 and I really advice strongly against Britt. You could still seeover 7 million from not having Thompson, Dickson, and Hunt who are all losers.

Just wait until our first round pick. I guarantee you will then be doing cart wheels with glee.

Weren't you telling me on another thread that the O Line was bad to finish the season because they lost guys, and used Britt as an example?

I am fine with making some cuts, doubt they cut McDougald though. They seem very hesitant to play the kid from Utah at Safety. No clue why. KJ will probably depend on if Kendricks can play or not. Britt should be gone, and maybe the guy from the Steelers takes his spot...but I am hopeful that two of those three get cut and we draft a Center and a Tackle. Have no clue why we signed three backups to improve the O Line.
