The choice of Harris was horrible. She is not a charismatic leader which is why no one gravitated towards her in the Primaries. It stands to reason the polls are becoming closer as soon as people really start listening to what Dems are spewing

You can imagine the leftists down here - it is Trump rage central. I'm a moderate - so I can engage both sides - but the problem I run into is the leftists won;t listen to anything that is not parroting them. The centrists and right will have the conversation with you. I have had long standing friends literally tell me they will unfriend me for not supporting the left - I have had a friend say he wants us to move into socialism. These are hard, shocking convos to have, I;m not kidding when I tell you I have had sleepless nights - especially after a friend told me I was racist because I supported the Jeffersonian ideology of the states taking the reigns of their own fates - because TJ was a racist because he had slaves. I told him everyone had slaves back then, it was accepted - and that the US did not start slavery, but they ended it. Of course he was furious at me for that.

I was having beers with a good friend on Saturday - he's been a long standing Trump-hater, but only mildly so - his wife is much more so. Over the past few months we have discussions about it all - his only real complaint is he doesn't like Trump's bluster, which I get. I have never cared about that - I;m only interested in policy - and as I discuss policy with him - which he knows next to nothing about - he's actually very receptive to what Trump is doing. The Peace Deal, refunding the decrepid National Parks, tackling human trafficking, his handling of COVID, getting us out of those insane trade deals, that ridiculous "climate agreement' that is a joke. He's voting for Biden - but reluctantly so - acknowledges he's brain dead, etc.

He's not a rager - and we have quality, friendly conversations - and he fully admits that he has no problem with Trump's policies, just his bluster. I wonder how many people follow this pattern? For those that will listen and engage - it's hard to disagree with a lot of his policies. Unfortunately the media won't cover that.

What's so ironic - is what will happen to the media if Trump loses - they will become instantly irrelevant. He's all they talk about. Without him as their target - they'll have nothing.

Oh, breaking news - there was actually a Trump rally up the street from me in BH. That takes guts in this town. I should note - I disagree with some of his policies - I'm not a Trump guy, I am anti-leftist. Their ideologies make no sense to me - they are fiscally absurd and beyond irresponsible and dangerous.

That's what amazes me about those with TDS. They just hate him as person so they try to finds things that he has done to that has made this a worse country to live in and there is LITERALLY nothing.

If Obama got a third term and did EXACTLY what Trump has accomplished maintained is own persona, he would be considered the greatest POTUS in history.
