That would be a surprise to me. I could be wrong, and this could be a stereotype, but it would seem to me that if viewership of the NBA is down, they have more than likely lost viewership of young black men. Maybe everyone, regardless of skin color, just wants to watch a sport to escape all this shit, not to have it further shoved down their throat.

To me? It is poetic justice. Lebron saying they should stop playing, might just have turned off enough people. Once again, he had the backing of a lot of players until they found out that, GASP, if they stop working the paychecks stop! How hard for the richest man in the league to tell everyone "hey, to prove a point we should walk away." Yeah, great idea, until the players realize that just like the real world, you don't work? Your boss don't pay you!

It still blows me away. These effing nuckleheads actually thought they deserved their entire salary even if they VOLUNTARILY walked away and stopped working. We all wondered what would happen when the kids that all got trophies grew up....here it is.
