Yep then France becomes UT until taking over for Seager when he get traded or leaves after next season.bpj wrote: ↑Thu Nov 05, 2020 5:08 pmI agree, we don't have an immediate vacancy at SS the way we do in LF/DH, especially if Haniger doesn't make it back or just goes back to being a nobody.
A guy like Marcell Ozuna gets pretty interesting depending on the number of years it takes to get him. We have space at DH once a new LF'er emerges from the minors.

Yep I would be happy with him or Brantley.AT Fresno wrote: ↑Thu Nov 05, 2020 5:57 pmWhy not an infield/dh that would solidify our "weak lineup". Even with Haniger's swollen nutsack keeping him docile, we have Trammell, Moore, Hagerty, Lopes, Marmalejos... Kellenic, Rodriguez, and DeLoach in the pipeline for the outfield. I like DiDi Gregorious.... course I've said that over and over...D-train wrote: ↑Thu Nov 05, 2020 12:33 pmYeah, I am not advocating for an SS this off season. I would prefer a OF/DH that can solidify our weak lineup and make the news on Feb 15th 2021 that Haniger fell down the strairs and broke the rest of the bones in his body and other nut more bearable.Sexymarinersfan wrote: ↑Thu Nov 05, 2020 9:14 amNext year's free agent SS crop, 2021. You're gonna have to deal for one knowing whats currently out there next year. It'll give us another year of Crawford as well to see if he's the real deal.

Only disagreement i have is no reason for Moore to be in LF when he fits so nicely to plug in at 2B.D-train wrote: ↑Thu Nov 05, 2020 6:04 pmYep I would be happy with him or Brantley.AT Fresno wrote: ↑Thu Nov 05, 2020 5:57 pmWhy not an infield/dh that would solidify our "weak lineup". Not to mention Haggerty, Lopes and Marma are not options for full time OF.bpj wrote: ↑Thu Nov 05, 2020 6:35 pmOnly disagreement i have is no reason for Moore to be in LF when he fits so nicely to plug in at 2B.D-train wrote: ↑Thu Nov 05, 2020 6:04 pmYep I would be happy with him or Brantley.AT Fresno wrote: ↑Thu Nov 05, 2020 5:57 pm

Hey JD just signed his FA relievers. Off season over.
The Mariners have agreed to sign right-handers Matt Magill, Gerson Bautista, and Brady Lail to minor league contracts, The Athletic’s Corey Brock reports (Twitter link). All three pitchers were outrighted off Seattle’s 40-man roster following the season.

I guess we owe the now former Mets GM a big thank you on his way out the door for the Cano trade.

Stroman wins and FA preference Poll. Also some off season plans in here. At least they are imploring them to spend money this off season.

Yep if the rebuild is successful that is the trade we can point to for being the biggest factor.
