For those of us considering Joe Musgrove as a rotation trade target this winter. Now *this* would seem to be a pitcher we could trade very acceptably for.

According to sources, Marcus Stroman has accepted the qualifying offer from the Mets.

The qualifying offer is valued at $18.9 million.

The simulated trade is perplexing because Baseball Trade Values assigns median surplus values of $5.3 million for Bryant, $73.8 million for Rodriguez, $19.4 million for Hancock and $14.7 million for Kirby.

Like Baseball Trade Values I would not trade even one of those prospects for Bryant.
