New York state shed 1 million jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 amid lockdowns and meltdowns in tourism and business activity, a sobering new report reveals.
That means 10 percent of the state workforce vanished.
New York City lost the majority of the jobs from pre-pandemic December 2019 to December 2020 — 578,000, the state Labor Department data found.
In other words, one out of eight jobs in the Big Apple — 12 percent — disappeared. That’s the highest job loss rate in the state.

4 years ago, there were Democrats and liberals who criticized everything that Trump did and didn't give him a chance. You know: sniping at everything and exaggerating what he was doing to emphasize the negatives. I had intense arguments with some of my left wing friends. Now, it seems to me that there are Republicans and conservatives who are doing the same thing with Biden. One side of the coin, meet the other. Unfortunately you share some unattractive qualities.

I just watched a blatant biased Trump smear job/Biden worshipping segment on CBS Sunday Morning including ONCE AGAIN the completely taken out of context "good people on both sides" quote. It is very clear the MSM isn't going to provide the truth so it is up to us to do it. I meticulously went through his executive orders on the Biden agenda thread and provided rationale explanations as to why nearly every one of them were severely flawed. The left and the absurdist media are still trying to do the "blame trump' routine to keep stoking the fear and hate mongering, but ultimately they are going to have to find a new villain. I can't imagine even the most clueless liberal not eventually figuring out the math and realizing that, you can't keep blaming Trump - he's gone. The blame Trump nonsense and the absurd impeachment nonsense are all distractions, per the usual, as Biden repeals all the positive things Trump did for the country. Gas prices are already rising here in LA - get ready for more. As Americans start to feel the weight and the cost of Biden's actions, the media is going to have to find a scapegoat to distract them with - but eventually the public is going to realize you can't keep blaming Trump. That's probably when we'll magically get into a war in the middle east as a perfect little distraction. Trump kept us out of wars, he didn't need them as a distraction. This administration will absolutely manufacture a new villain and a war. Just watch.
Don't be surprised is you see new riots and protests as BLM and Antifa realize Sleep Joe wants nothing to do with them. Biden may be many things, but he isn't a nut job lefty. Harris may be, or she may just embrace that ideology to help get her elected and falsely grow her base. Let's see what sparks the next wave of riots and how the feds handle it. What do you bet the dem govs magically allow the national Guard in to protect their cities this time. Then the furious citizens will be like "why the fuck didn't you do this last time?" and everyone realizes it was a blame trump game - at the cost of literally burning down cities. I wonder if the media will report that Trump offered national Guard troops - and all the crispy dem cities refused the help.
Trump should just kick back, watch the people get even more enraged at the hypocrites in office gov - then pair up with Tulsi Gabberd and create the Patriot Party and Network.
