So the Mets are going to sign Dunn in 2027 and JK in 2028 in FA. Yikes, there goes the rebuild. Don't worry the Sonics should be back by then.Happy as hell wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2019 9:06 pmKelenic and Dunn are still stunned to be with the Mariners. And I gather not in a good way.

Gee, that makes 1.......Will it turn into a eventual World Series?
I'm guessing not in my lifetime.

Re: Finally......
That doesn’t sound like a guy that wants to be on the west coast. Jerry will probably jump the shark with Kelenic, but he should at least wait until his value and full potential is obvious before he trades him
Re: Finally......
Wait wait, not too long ago there was an article that basically made out as if there was a lovein with Kelenic and Seattle. Now he doesn't wasn't to be here?
If he didn't want to be here he would not have flown to Seattle for a pre draft workout(when we were picking 13th) instead he would have had his agent politely tell us to xxxx off.
Kelenic is being diplomatic, not burning bridges is always a good thing.

I don't know, I wouldn't call that being diplomatic, and if anything i would call that burning bridges, he just ripped the Mets for trading him. He just described how it hurt. I don't see him pining for the day he gets to sign with them again
Re: Finally......
Of course you wouldKelenic called it “unfortunate” that the Mets dealt him away, adding, “But who knows, I could always come back there. I never want to burn any bridges there.”

Re: Finally......
oh ok, i was reading how you don't do that to first year players, guess he is going to resign there in seven years
Re: Finally......
Jesus you guys are like a bunched of insecure school girls. Dunn is NYC guy so of course he wished he could have played in front of friends and family.
Do you really think JK just hates being in the M's org because of this:
He was using his Midwest manners is all.
Do you really think JK just hates being in the M's org because of this:
He was talking to a NYC newspaper columnist. He was saying it was unfortunate from the Met's perspective. Do you really think a guy from Waukesha, WI grew up dreaming about playing in the rat hole that is NYC for a second fiddle org like the Met's????Kelenic called it “unfortunate” that the Mets dealt him away, adding, “But who knows, I could always come back there. I never want to burn any bridges there.”

Yeah, I’m sure he’s say something different to a local columnist. These guys know they need to please their audience.
Re: Finally......
Exactly. The writer is one of the clowns that didn't vote for Edgar for the HOF. He probably opened with "Man, sucks that you were traded to the lowly Mariners, the Mets miss you already.................."Happy as hell wrote: ↑Thu Jul 11, 2019 4:43 pmYeah, I’m sure he’s say something different to a local columnist.
