move the premier defensive catcher in MLB to first base, there's an idea.

Not just that. The value of 40+ homers from catcher is massive, because you can get just about anyone to man the bag at first. Getting offensive production from catcher is huge. Catcher and shortstop are the most skilled defensive positions. First base is probably the least. First base is basically like the second DH.

Young is already starting to lock up 2B in my opinion. His bat is good and it looks like he's getting more and more comfortable hitting - will see how the rest of the season goes but he should be given 2B next year to show he's legit and if so - should be his going forward.

Your ok. Eventually Cal will need to switch over especially if his bat holds up and Harry needs to come up and get comfortable with the rotation.
