This Urethra kid pitching for the Angels has a nice 3.14 ERA despite a 1.34 WHIP which is mediocre. Just weird how you see these pitchers with stats like that while our pitchers have WHIPs that are much better than that yet their ERAs are higher, the best example being Logan Gilbert who has WHIPs that are close to 1.00 every year but ERAs in the 3.50 range and in 2024 had a 0.887 WHIP (one of the best of all time) but a 3.23 ERA which nobody in MLB history has ever even come close to matching for imbalance.
