So they're treating it like the guy at 3rd stole home even though the play resulted in an out?
No the explanation in the second post. Blue Jays needed to appeal that he left early and they didn't so the run scores.

What are the odds that both base runners thought there were two outs??? You see that maybe once or twice a year and it happened twice on the same play????? 1 in billion?
I don't think they both thought there were 2 outs. I think the runner on 1st base confused the runner on 3rd because the runner on 3rd saw him trotting like it was the last out.

Either way, low IQ.

Yeah the scoreboard was wrong so it makes sense but my God how do you not know how many outs there are. Do guys literally look at the scoreboard to see how many outs there are? Freaking major league baseball players rely on the scoreboard. And have the memories of house flies.
Speaking of praying mantis' and knowing how many outs there are, victor robles has a sense of humor

Not only did both runners think there were two outs. So did the pitcher and the catcher. They were walking off the field celebrating as soon as the catch was made.

That is just unreal because the inning was not along any it just started like 5 minutes earlier.
