Kwa-day won't be returning to the team this season. What a joke. But Hop seems to think he will have a big role to play next season (before going on academic probation again).
If it is true that cutting class was the reason he was ineligible, despite they fact they had to assign someone to get his lazy ass to class? I’d say send him packing. We don’t need that shit. I mean seriously? If there is any truth to that he shouldn’t get another chance anywhere. Name the last time a team ranked inside the Top 20 lost a player to something like this? What a joke.

I'd say top 20 programs, in general, know how to by-pass (or cover up) these kinds of problems. Either the college admin makes sure their prize athletes pass their courses whether they attend or not, or they have degree programs for morons that require little more than a pulse to get through. UW needs to learn the game if they want to compete.

Maybe the UW has integrity. I would prefer that to winning games if I can't have both.

I would say most NCAA athletes are not lazy enough to pull that. If this rumor is correct, then Quade doesn't deserve to play anywhere, and certainly not here. What a joke. Those guys basically need to do nothing academically, and nothing was just too much for this kid?

I bet he assumed the UW had the same policy that UK did.

This team has jaded my outlook on college athletics. I've become a total skeptic thanks to this effluvial discharge of a basketball team.
