Houston is moving up the rankings too. That should help us in sos at least.

They beat Baylor because they really are a talented team. They've been going toe-to-toe with virtually everyone including Gonzaga and Oregon, but there's something in them that's stopping them from getting over the hump.

I realize I quit watching them, but I quite watching them for a reason. They are TERRIBLE to watch. They weren't when they played Baylor. They have completely forgotten how to play offense without Green. Which is concerning since he wasn't supposed to be able to play until a few weeks ago anyway. Imagine how shitty this season would have been if they made him sit out until January for transferring like he was supposed to?

dont know what it is you saw in Green, to me Tsohonis looks far better running the offense. not to mention a little more length on D. seems to have a lot of Nigel Williams Goss to him, now if he could just make a free throw. also badly need Battle and Bey to start hitting from deep - ridiculous that they dont get more decent 3-ball looks with all the attention Stewart commands down low. but other than McDaniels and occasionally Carter, they dont get set for the catch and shoot like other good teams do.

I didn't see a ton in Green besides the fact that the offense didn't look completely lost. Hard to blow the kind of leads this team blows without the offense being lost. The basketball as a whole was watchable with Green. It is absolutely unwatchable now. The end of the Stanford game was the worst I have ever seen when it didn't involve Junior High Girls. That is not an exaggeration. I have seriously never seen any boys basketball HS level or above that looked as bad as we did. I said it before, but we looked like five guys trying to play offense with our fingers chopped off. The worst ball handling, shooting and passing combination ever. Even in the Romar days, the scheme sucked, but there was a Guard that could dribble down the clock and get a shot off. We had guys chucking up contested off balanced threes with tons of shot clock left, more turnovers than I could count and free throw shooting that made Shaq look like Rick Berry! It is gross basketball, and I am not by any stretch throwing Hop under the bus, but I will not watch this group play. It is not worth the headache. The last time I took this stance Romar was damn near out the door. Bad BAD basketball.

It must be my fault. Since I turned off the radio we have gone on an 18 to 11 run to take the lead!

Up 8 we just gave up a five offensive rebounds on one trip down the floor. Radio off again.

don't follow basketball these days but as I understand it, with the player turnover, the one and dones, there is going to be a lot of inconsistency to it. Not sure how much coaching a coach can do. Romar was brought up in that other thread, as I understood it, Romar is considered a good coach, but his style doesn't fit the one and done era.
