I read it as him still having faith in Anderson where others have given up, what's wrong with that? Where does he say anything about it being racial? Says he'll ride Anderson until the wheels come off, okay. Where does he complain about his not being signed?

Anderson's temperament is probably the biggest issue in terms of his getting a contract

Marlins and dodgers supposedly interested in signing Anderson...
“The Dodgers value positional flexibility, and signing Anderson would give them that,” Kelly pointed out. “It just feels like if president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman lands Anderson, the rest of the league will be asking themselves the same question in a few months: How did we let the Dodgers get this guy on a low-risk, high-reward deal?”

Anderson is 30 year old and has made $37.5M Thank God he has guys like Cameron looking out for him or he might have ended up homeless! What a fucking joke.

So Cameron is a fan of Tim Anderson, what's wrong with that? Anderson is an interesting case, Bellinger got another shot after two crappy seasons.
The 30-year-old's production fell off in 2023, however, as he hit just .245 with a .582 OPS. Over the previous four seasons, he was a .318 hitter with an .820 OPS

I think DT is probably right, that it's at least partially a black thing. American blacks around the game seem to have a chip on their shoulder because they don't dominate the sport. I mean, Cameron doesn't say that, but it seems pretty likely that's where he's coming from. And he also isn't the brightest bulb in the lightbulb store, so I wouldn't expect him to be spinning cycles ruminating on all the possible reasons a player might not have signed yet in what might be the worst free agent season in the last decade.

One day hope I can root for a team that doesn't refuse to do something that makes complete sense to improve the team because of a little money.

Matt Chapman is the last guy I'd be after to improve the lineup, but there are still players out there that would make the team better.

It's frustrating to see them not take the extra step when they could be clear contenders with one or two moves.

They always stop one or two moves short. Probably because they think they only need to win 54% of their games.
