Who could have seen as the offense was an issue with this team???

And yet another bargain bin Dipoto guy that can’t play. WOW, never have seen this before.

That might be the worst baseball game I've ever watched.

19 K's.

1 for 20 RISP.

But please Vogelbomb and Harmony... chime in with your bullshit.
Thank you for the feedback.

Apparently delicate sensibilities have been offended.

The takeaway probably is offense in general pretty much sucks

No. Don't do that. Don't play that stupid game.

The M's are dead last in baseball w. RISP and their BA just dropped another 20 points. They're likely behind by 30ish points and their OPS+ w. RISP will dip below 20.

Only one team is doing that. It's the Mariners.

I was going by ops+, there are mediocre hitters by that measurement. Things like ops+ with risp can change as the at bats increase, ops+ probably not so much.

I don't know if I've ever seen a Mariners game where they got so many pitches right down the middle and missed them. And we're talking 92 MPH fastballs. Or in that last AB by Raley, he got two hangers right in the middle of the strike zone and couldn't hit either one. Garver gets a 1-2 mistake fastball right down the middle and hits into a DP.

If the Asstros pitchers had been pitching to the Asstros hitters tonight, they would have gotten slaughtered.

Has D-Mo ever been leadoff?
Apparently 15 times. He is 5 for 12 with 3 walks.
.417 average and 1.200 OPS.
I could have looked it up but it's more 'funner" to get the answer from the land of my paternal ancestors, England.

Can't remember if I've ever told this here.

My clan of Carpenter's made the passage across the Atlantic in the early 1600's and landed in Jamestown.
The ship had made many passages over and back bringing folks away from GB and to America.

From what I've read and been told, the Carpenters and other passengers disembarked, and the ship turned around to return for more pilgrims.

It never made it back. Somewhere it sank and lies on the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.

If it had gone down before that I wouldn't be here today. You can look it up and see the actual manifest.

The ship's name? The "Beavis" (spelled differently from Butthead's partner!).
Wow, remarkable story rocky. I have just read the story. Would that make the Rehoboth Carpenters your ascendants?

Sounds like an impressive bunch. I might have to be obliged to bow my head in respect whenever we meet……

This team is cringingly disappointing but at least Castillo is improving my betting output this season. Only way to make Mariner games fun at the minute is the betting opportunities to cash in.

Big game tonight, can’t afford another loss. As rocky pointed out on page 2 - we haven’t yet won 2 consecutive games this season. That’s terrible.

Rehoboth - that is what I've been led to believe. I did screw the story up an iota. The ship was named the Bevis. Butthead's partner is Beavis. Never watched or could stand that TV show. Thanks for researching. I guess some of my ascendants spread out and were Baptist ministers.....
Don't you dare bow down. I'm just a humble descendant of some Carpenter's who chose a perilous journey to a new place to build a better life. No different than thousands and millions who have, and are still doing, the same thing.
Rocky Colavito is a Hall of Famer in my book!

Those are some impressive stats right there. Wow. But it probably was more fun to read about versus watching. ;)
