I've seen that Rainier Beach grabbed that kid Stokes from down here in SoCal and he makes opponents look like a bunch of monkeys. That they even have one loss with that team and that kid is shocking.
That, to me, is very weird. I don't know the back story, but to just transfer like that? I imagine the family must have moved, but pretty obvious why.

We played Mark Morris this weekend. There were "parents" in the stands talking about how they are a Billet family. So? They house kids that go their to play softball? Interesting. They destroyed us, with a Pitcher going to Montana and four or five other kids that are committed or drawing interest. Crazy. We were certainly not prepared to face them in our third game of the season, but we are also all kids being pulled from one small community, trying to play mercenaries!

It used to mean something. These were the kids you grew up playing with, it was your community. Not even that way in High School anymore. Now HS's have families making money to house kids that are good athletes. Makes the Blind Side stuff seem pretty average.

I used to love March Madness, used to fill out at least on bracket a year. But the Huskies have suck so long I don't even bother to fill out a bracket or watch a single game.....
