Anyway... I'm going fishing at Alder Lake this weekend. Hopefully it goes better than Riffe Lake last weekend where I lost my downrigger weight about 30 minutes in.

Even with 23 posts so far, little of it is about the game and I'm wondering if that fake intentional 13-0 no-hitter just turned everyone off. It is hard to root for a team that purposely does something like that.

Gordon in two seasons has successfully beat out one bunt in about 15 bunt-hit attempts that were fair balls. He just doesn't seem to get out of the box very fast after he drops it down.

It’s just a boring game so far, I think. Plus it’s in Oakland, probably the most dismal park in all of baseball.

...although I will say this - after watching Crawford in the field for three months now, his range, arm, stature, the way he goes after the ball - he reminds me very much of A-Rod for his first few seasons.

And there's the problem with Servais.

His top pitcher gets a blown strike 3 call to end the inning. Servais needs to be out there with steam blowing from his hears getting tossed before Chapman is up to protect his guy.

Instead? Chapman HR next batter.

Broadcast shows Marco pissed in the dugout and Servais is asking him if his foot is OK...

GOD DAMN IT WHY IS OUR FKN MANAGER SUCH A FKN LOSER.
