Thats not lucky. Thats making the other team make a play. Thats why you send them. They have to field the ball, make the throw, and make the tag.

It was bad hitting. Don't blame the coach for something coaches are going to call 90 % of the time. Don't blame the runner for doing what the coach tells him to do. The hitter needs to elevate the ball, or hit it up the middle, or both.

I was just looking at game logs and Haniger is 12 for his last 66 (including today).

.181 BA since April 15th.
