Rises and falls in attendance are very slow, so even if the team had lost 100 games this season they still probably would have drawn 2.5 million or so. For the next few years they're going to draw well no matter what. One big help is that the drop in ticket price resales for a shitty team helps put butts in the seats. They'd have to lose for several years before you really start to see the hit at the turnstiles. Even the Angels are still going to draw close to 2.5 million this season if you can believe that.

I love the garden hose analogy. Turn it on and it takes a bit for the water to come out. Turn it off and it takes a while for it to stop.

I miss watering my lawn in Kirkland. 7 long years of fucking chaos created by corporate America stole that peace and solitude from me.

If "our" team wins the remaining 18 games, we'd get to 85 wins but still fail to reach Jerry's 54%.
Ain't that the shits.
You havdn't submitted any picks in the football pick'em contest. What's the matter, are ya skeered?

He is what we thought he is and that's not a bad thing. .819 OPS 129 OPS+ a shit ton of Ks and average D. Just one walk short of expectations.

The season is over. If they play Ward over him vs. LH starters they should all be fired twice.
