We can now negotiate with him if we would like to.
Eddie Rosario goes unclaimed
Placed on outright waivers on Tuesday, Eddie Rosario has cleared waivers. He is expected to be non-tendered before the deadline later today and would become a free agent. The outfielder was projected to make between $9-10 million in arbitration. He hit 13 home runs in 57 games in 2020 and has 119 home runs in 697 career games, all with Minnesota.
And now they run in to the Seattle vs. Everybody Else problem.

Waivers make it easy, but maybe player values are that far down this year..

Archie Bradley non-tendered. I think this is just the type of guy that floats into DiPoto’s crosshairs for the bullpen.

The lefthanded bat of former Mariner Ben Gamel is available to provide the bridge in left field:

Non-tendered leftfielder Kyle Schwarber, who is four years younger than Adam Duvall, brings a lefthanded bat and a career OPS of .816:

I have a lot more confidence in White than many of you. Arguments at some point become beating the ground that covers the dead dog. He will need to make some adjustments. I think he was over his head and spun out.

Someone said triple AAA for some time. I agree.

Anyone can play 1B for a time. France, or Moore, Marmelejos. I kinda wished they had sent him down and worked in one adjustment and sent him back up after a week. KInda, a giant labratory type arrangement. Pull him back to the alternate site this is what they are doing this is one way you can compensate.
Lot's of opinions on one side or the other of this player.... to me, White is the elephant in the room... overmatched this year at the major league level but a small sample size at 60 games... yet it is a HUGE alarm bell ringing as his contact rate reached wreckage levels... He is more likely a bust at this point, I do have hope but not enough to bet money on him attaining major league proficiency.... And as a poker player, I have no trouble folding a promising hand that goes sour at the turn.... I'm not saying it's time yet but there should be no delay in sending him down if he struggles and we should have alternatives in the wings...

Kyle Schwarzenegger as DH/1B/LF insurance
Eddie Rosario as LF insurance
Matt Wisler RP

Are all interesting to me.

Wislers K/9 and ERA both look like something I'd hop on.

Hell yes. Dude had a great season and had great pedigree to boot. Also have a warm spot in my heart given my 91 year uncle Uncle Archie. :)

Actually my uncle Archie's last name is Baur so if we could get and Archie and a Bauer I would buy JD a large beer.
